I was born in New York and raised in Connecticut. Many would say that I am a city dweller and I would certainly agree with them. However, being a city dweller does not necessarily mean I enjoy the ambulance noise pollution at midnight or the messy trash spill-overs caused by the wind along the sidewalk of Tremont street (though I would blame the laziness and careless of some people unwilling to properly tie their garbage bags, but that’s a different topic.) That is part of life in any city. However, the whole picture involves nature. Outside of the city life, I enjoy and appreciation the Australian outback for its vast red landscape and the foggy-snow covered mountain tops of Chile, and would like to help preserve it in some fashion.
This acknowledgment of the beauty of nature accompanied with the responsibility that we have as inhabitants of this unceasingly beautiful place we call earth is what prompts me to join the Green Life. I believe that the best thing I can do for myself and future generations is to contribute to the flow of information in order to raise awareness, and eventually action. I am excited to be working with similar minded individuals who want to promote a better, clear understanding of what the media and corporations put out.
In short, I am here to put what knowledge and perspective I have of the world and environment into the Green Life vehicle and help steer it. Hopefully, it’ll at least be a hybrid vehicle!
